We are a family-based business that is run out of our home which means our overhead costs are low, allowing the savings to be passed on to you. Our rates stay the same whether you have us out weekdays or weekends.

The decision to start Northern Maintenance & More
was made shortly after a lay off. Paul Riggs, owner of Northern
Maintenance & More, started talking to friends and family when
he realized that there was a need for an honest handyman service
that was "PROMPT". How many times have you called to have a service
done and the worker arrives up to an hour late or gives a three-hour
window that they will be there? We realize how important your time
is, especially if you have to take time off work to be there, and
we promise to be on time and to provide quality workmanship.
Due to distance and continual industry fluctuation Paul decided to work closer to home doing what he loves best. Paul has been in the maintenance industry since 1997. Prior to the maintenance industry he was a Chef. So while working on your home or business if you need consultation on food preparation, he can help you serve it up.
Paul grew up in Bloomington and moved to Princeton in 1999. He and his wife, Tawnya, live just north of town on a 12-acre hobby farm. After purchasing their home they encountered many repairs that were needed so they know first hand, how you feel about that never ending "Honey Do List" and how great it feels to have it done.
The staff consists of Paul, the worker bee. He will be the one
you will see on the job. Tawnya is more behind the scenes. She is
the one that keeps Paul in line and on time. She also handles all
the paperwork. BC Mo (resident dog) is the Security Staff responsible
for the privacy of your client information.
